Cloyd’s is made up of teams to serve God and serve others.

Christian Education - Danette Baskin

Purpose: Create an atmosphere of learning God’s word so that those attending may come to know Christ, grow in Christ, and serve Christ.

“But you remain faithful to the things you have been taught. You know they are true, for you know you can trust those who taught you. You have been taught the Holy Scripture from childhood, and they have given you the wisdom to receive the salvation that comes by trusting in Christ Jesus.” 2 Timothy 3:14-15

Goal: To educate individuals and families to develop or enhance their personal relationships with God and each other.


Missions - Tim Odom

Purpose: To show the love of God through our missions and outreach to the community and to the world.

“So, we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making His appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!” 2 Corinthians 5:20

“Therefore go and make disciple of all nations… And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:20

Goal: To understand the needs of the community and assist in developing ministries that meet those needs.

Fellowship Ministry - Vickie Hibdon

Purpose: To assist by making every individual feel a part of the Family of God of Cloyd’s Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

“God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.” 1 Corinthians 1:9

Goal: To ensure all fellowship activities are planned to support the coming together of God’s people.


Communication Ministry - Justin Lee

Purpose: To communicate the mission of the church through media and to be the communication hub of the church.

“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” Hebrews 10:24-25

Goals: To act as a hub for internal and external communication for the church

Worship Team - Cindy Moore

Purpose: To assist the pastor in developing worship services that are exciting and create an atmosphere where God can be worshipped, and lives can be changed by the working of the Holy Spirit.

“May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to you, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.” Psalm 19:14

“Speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord.” Ephesians 5:19

Goal: The goal is to have a worship service that is so exciting that people will not want to miss.


55 + Free to Be Me - Chaz & Sheila Spampinato

Purpose: to encourage fellowship, growth and bonding of our 55+ church attindees through regular scheduled monthly activities.

“But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.” Acts 20:24

Goal: to minister to adults 55 years and older in our Church family with spiritual uplift and social engagement.


Benevolence Ministry - Sue Street

Purpose: To provide help to those in our church and community when requested

“By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers. But if anyone has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God’s love abide in him? Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.” 1 John 3:18

“All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had.” Acts 4:32

Goal: To assist those in need.
